CLINICAL ANALYST 

Pay Grade 38

Full Time -This position will plan and implement existing system updates in conjunction with overall GSM HIMS staff and software vendor. Troubleshoot any technical issues the clinical staff may have with the software and forms. Researches, develops, installs, recommends and plans training on new clinical technologies. Assist end users with clinical technology issues. A BS degree preferred in Management, Nursing, or related field. Related job experience will also be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree as is directly related to the GE Centricity Practice Solution software. Extensive medical office practice manage experience (3-5 years minimum). Experience with an electrical medical record and billing system is required. Knowledge of EMR forms, observation terms, and flowsheets is a plus. GE Centricity Practice Solutions with Form Editor or Visual Form is required. A proven track record of successfully leading teams of people in projects must be shown. Familiarity and adherence to HIPPA rules and regulations is also required. Also experience with and familiarity to CMS, Medicaid and Medicare billing guidelines, incentives, HITECH regulations. The ability to troubleshoot technical software in a time-sensitive manner is necessary. The ability to communicate technical issues to clinical staff and HIMS staff is crucial for maintaining an uninterrupted patient care environment. Excellent communication both oral and written is required for this position. The ability to document procedures is necessary for keeping track of training and systems changes. This position demands flexibility and adaptability of the job holder.
